The Nehru Memorial museum in Delhi is commonly known as Nehru museum. Nehru museum is a must visit place for those interested in knowing the Indian struggle for freedom and the life history of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. The museum was once the residence of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru and was converted into museum after his death.
The Nehru museum displays the photographs, writings, personal belongings of Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru and his struggle for Indias Independence. Recently added attractions of the museum is the model of Indian constituent assembly with Nehru delivering his famous Independence speech on 15th August 1947.
