It is not safe to drink water straight from the tap in Delhi until unless it is mentioned clearly as “Drinking Water”. All foreign tourists are adviced to drink bottled mineral water bought from good stores.

Bottled mineral water can be easily bought in Delhi at almost all bakery shops, small & medium departmental stores and at supermarkets. Avoid buying it from people selling it in buses or on road side.
